Enjoy the drive through the stunning backdrop of the Amalfi Coast’s sheer cliff faces and idyllic houses that blend seamlessly into the environment. Make the trip your own by stopping to visit one of the quaint fishing villages en route, or to dip your toes into the turquoise water of the Mediterranean. 

 

Naples – Sorrento – Naples

 

Day 1: Naples

Upon arrival at Naples International Airport, pick up your car and drive to your hotel.

 

Day 2: Naples (B)

Take a panoramic city tour of the city. Take the train up to the Vomero area of the city for incredible views over the whole of the Gulf of Naples.

 

Day 3: Naples – Caserta – Naples (70 km – 1.5 hrs) (B)

Drive to Caserta, home to the extraordinary monumental complex. After a busy day of sightseeing, return to your hotel in Naples.

 

Day 4: Naples - Pompeii – Sorrento (50 km – 1 hrs) (B)

Today leave Naples and make your way to Sorrento via Pompeii. Today is the perfect opportunity to stop and visit the active volcano, Mount Vesuvius, and the famous archaeological site of Pompeii left buried by the volcano’s deadly eruption in 79 AD. Later drive to Sorrento.

 

Day 5: Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento (1hr by ferry) (B)

Meet your guide in the morning and depart to Sorrento Port. You take the hydrofoil boat service to Capri Island. We will return to Sorrento in the late afternoon and you will be transferred back to your hotel for the night.

 

Day 6: Sorrento – Positano – Amalfi – Ravello – Sorrento (80 km – 3 hrs) (B)

Today drive to Amalfi. In the afternoon, take your time to visit the town of Amalfi or drive a little further and visit the clifftop retreat of Ravello. Return back to Sorrento.

 

Day 7: Sorrento – Positano – Paestum – Sorrento (200 km – 3 hrs) (B)

Drive to Positano, one of the Amalfi Coast’s most famed destinations and return in the afternoon back to Sorrento.

 

Day 8: Sorrento – Departure Naples (50 km – 1hr) (B)

Drive back to Naples Airport to connect your flight
